LAMDA?

Founded in 1861, LAMDA is the oldest drama school in the United Kingdom and has a reputation for excellence across the world.

LAMDA examinations are designed to equip candidates with a range of skills that will serve them throughout life, such as a clear, strong speaking voice, positive body language and self-confidence, by exploring different uses of spoken English and performing arts. The qualifications are well recognised and respected by all Universities, Colleges and professional theatre companies.
HOW DOES THE EXAM WORK?
​The exam consists of the preparation of one, two or three pieces, and these exams can also be taken as solos or duos (two students together – which some students prefer. By choosing duo, the students will take private lessons together.)

It is vital that each lesson can be attended and that students do extra work between sessions in order to be as prepared as possible for the examiner.
